Carmen Mansilla, in her own words, always remembers painting. After years of professionally dedicated to illustration and design, she decides to leave everything behind and travel to Florence to learn with the classics. She has had solo exhibitions in Spain, Edinburgh, Paris, London, and Italy. Her work is found in both public and private collections.

Next Thursday, March 25, as an activity of the exhibition «Women Painting», the artist will give us a demonstration of the creative process of a self-portrait. The session will be organized by Barcelona Art Experience and is open to all interested public, whether you are an art lover like us or you are an artist. The demo will begin at 4pm in the Sala Noble on the first floor of the Palau Gomis, MEAM headquarters.
