Next Monday, March 8, coinciding with International Women's Day, the MEAM inaugurates the new exhibition ‘Women Painting (All over the world)” in homage to the role of women in figurative art. An exhibition in which 87 works by 78 women artists from around the world can be seen and which can be seen until May 2, 2021.

The exhibition includes paintings and drawings of 78 women artists of various origins from 25 different nationalities, such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Spain, Norway, Italy, Ireland, Germany, France, Holland, Russia, Egypt, Mexico , Panama, Venezuela or Chile, among others.

Beyond the exhibition, the museum will organize parallel activities until the end of the exhibition to claim the role of giving in the world of art and culture. Concerts and workshops will be held, always taking into account the limitations and restrictions set by the COVID-19 pandemic.
