Marc Ferrer began playing the piano at the age of 5, studying piano and music theory at the Barcelona Municipal Conservatory. From a very young age he began to be interested in Blues and Jazz.
After going through various formations, in 1996 he joined the group Chevy & the Hot Wheels, today refounded as The Big Jamboree.
He is also a member of groups such as The Big 3, Velvet Candles or Big5 and has collaborated with musicians such as Big Dani Pérez, Agustí Burriel, Pau Ruiz, Eugeni Muriel, Alba Pujol and international artists such as Dale Hawkins (composer of the legendary song "Suzy Q "), Barrence Whitefield, Roddy Jackson and J.D. McPherson.
He has performed at many festivals, highlighting the Barcelona Blues Festival, Cerdanyola Blues Festival, Escaldes Engordany Jazz Festival (Andorra), Santa Blues de Tenerife, Crossroads Gijón, Jingle Bell Rock (Alicante), R&R Festival Paris, Country Rock Toulouse, Rock & Roll Festival Attignado (France), Jazz Cittaducale (Rome), Moondogs (Ravenna), Hemsby (United Kingdom) and Rythm' Riot (United Kingdom).
Together with his trio he has published several albums that are highly appreciated among fans, participating as a pianist in projects by other renowned musicians. His music develops between blues, swing and jazz, styles of which he is a consummate master. His piano playing is vibrant and honest, engaging viewers at each of his concerts.Cristian "Poyo" Moya is a pianist born in Rosario, Argentina, based in Barcelona since 2006.
From a family of musicians and with more than 20 years of career, he has accompanied national and international Blues figures such as Corey Harris (USA), Bob Margolin (USA), Tail Dragger (USA), Patrick Hazel (USA), Dave Riley ( USES).
Among his influences are artists such as Otis Spann, Roosevelt Skyes, Leroy Carr, Johnnie Johnson, Mead Lux Lewis, Albert Ammons, Jerry Lee Lewis, Blind John Davis, Dr. John, Charles Brown, Jay McShann, Oscar Peterson or Ray Charles among others.
His repertoire ranges from old time blues through country blues, Chicago blues, boogie-woogie, gospel or ragtime to early jazz, swing or jazz, which he performs with a refined technique, transmitting large doses of elegance and virtuosity. in each performance.Two styles and two ways of approaching blues and black music, both of great quality, in a bloodless battle between two great musicians.
