Vale la pena visitar el MEAM para disfrutar de sus instalaciones y de la impresionante colección de pintura y escultura figurativa contemporánea. Los conciertos ofrecidos en la sala principal son una buena alternativa al bullicio de las calles que rodean este maravilloso palacio.

“Entré por casualidad y estuve una hora y media capturado por la belleza de las obras expuestas. Merece la visita. Este museo, escondido entre las calles históricas en el barrio del Born, dispone de obras emocionantes, fuertes y vivas. Un arte ilustrativo de impacto, que toca y hace temblar el velo de hipocresía que envuelve esta vida de celofán.Este museo de arte moderno se ha convertido en una visita fija durante mi estancia a Barcelona. 3 Plantas bien organizadas, obras interesantes, donde reina el silencio y la calma".

"Mis amigos me hicieron una sorpresa. Este museo se situa enfrente del museo Picasso en uno de los principales palacios de la Barcelona Napoleònica, el Palacio Gomis. En la primera planta, hay una sala que se usa para los conciertos. Esa noche hubo un pequeño concierto de ópera y Zarzuela con la soprano Cristina Fernández y el pianista Josep Buforn. Realmente disfruté este concierto en un entorno precioso, muy íntimo"
