We are delighted to announce the upcoming exhibition of Artist Li Xiaozhu’s latest series, "Di Yong Jin
Lian” (Golden Lotus Blossoming From the Earth ). This collection delves into the mystical world of Buddhist
legends, where golden lotuses bloom beneath the ground, and the skies are adorned with celestial flowers.
The golden lotus, a revered symbol in Buddhism, represents the sacred lotus found at the feet of Buddha and
Bodhisattva in statues. The concept, "If there is a lotus flower in the heart, there will be a lotus everywhere,"
embodies profound spiritual insights.
Li Xiaozhu’s works masterfully capture the natural state of objects through a subjective lens, creating a
dynamic interplay between reality and the surreal. His contemporary art, rich in theme and expressive in
painting language, constructs a world that transcends conventional cognitive boundaries. The multidimensional
nature of his paintings inverts the familiar and scrutinizes the essence of human nature. Through
his unique artistic perspective and innovative methods, Li's work showcases the limitless possibilities and
multicultural depths of art, particularly in exploring the rich connotations of the “Jinlian" (Golden Lotus) theme.
This exhibition promises to be a captivating journey through Li Xiaozhu’s artistic evolution, offering viewers a
profound and immersive experience that delves deep into the essence of human nature and the boundless
potential of art.
