    Daniel Claret, violoncello

    Born in 1987 in Barcelona, from cellists’ parents. His main teacher was Lluís Claret, with whom he studied in his Training classes; Peter Thiemann, with whom he studied the Top Grade at the Liceu Conservatory of Barcelona; and Julius Berger, of whom he was a pupil during the Master's degree in Music realized in Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum d'Augsburg (Germany). He has received, also, direct influences from masters like Bernard Greenhouse, Laurence Lesser, Radu Aldulescu, Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi or Gary Hoffman. He is now a soloist of the Orquestra Camera Musicae (OCM), and collaborator of the Classical National Orquestra of Andorra (ONCA). Daniel also collaborates also with the Orchestra of Big Theater del Liceu, the Symphonic Orchestra of Barcelona and the Instrumental Group Barcelona. He is member of the Auditorium Josep Carreras Orchestra. He has played in diverse occasions as soloist with the OCM, the ONCA, and the Symphonic Orchestra of the XXIst century and Bruckner Academy Orchester interpreting the concerts of R. Schumann, J. Haydn, the Double Concert of J. Brahms or the Triple Concert of L. van Beethoven. He has worked with the directors like Jordi Mora, Marzio Conti or Rubén Gimeno. Alone with his piano, he has realized recitals in Catalonia, France, Germany and Luxembourg. Along with his parents, Anna Mora y Lluís Claret, they form a trio of violoncellos and they have played in the Spanish State, France, Italy and Japan. Also, he is a member of Sandaran Cello Quartet with the cellists Jose Mor, Marc Galobardes and Jordi Claret. His professional life has always combined the interpretive slope with the pedagogic one, giving classes of violoncello and chamber music in municipal schools like Josep Maria Ruera de Granollers, that of Ametlla of the Vales or that of Manlleu. At present he is a teacher of violoncello in Escola Waldorf-Steiner "The Tiller" of Bellaterra.
