Beyond its spectacular collection of contemporary figurative painting, the European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM) programs a large number of activities and initiatives. One of them is the classical music series that it programs every Saturday afternoon.

On this occasion we will have the artists:

• Santi Escura, piano

A duo formed by two great music professionals with extensive musical training who have combined Classical Music and Jazz, R&B, Blues, Swim, Gospel, Soul, Flamenco, thus creating a new and very attractive fusion.

Angela Lorite is a great opera singer who has sung at the Liceu, Palau de Música and much of Spain, Portugal, France and Vienna. She is also a very good actress with a very versatile, pedagogical character, creator of several comic works such as "Dos Divas y un Destino" with a season at the Teatre Gaudi, which she interprets and creates a fusion between opera and different musical styles....

Santi Escura is one of the best musicians in Catalonia, a great pianist, composer and orchestrator, an innate creator who has worked in films, at Teatre del Liceu, the Palau de la Música, TV3,... A gifted person who improvises live, fusing styles as different as Classical music, Jazz, Gospel, R&B, Flamenco...etc. Thus enhancing his versatility and creative ambition.

Angela and Santi met in 2022 collaborating on different projects, and that is how IMPROLÍRIC came about, a fusion of GREAT IMPROVISATION BY TWO GREAT INTERPRETS, who have created three programs with great personality, very special and different. The three shows last between 60-90 minutes each, where you will enjoy great vocal and musical quality, and the performers create such a complicity with the audience that they also become part of the show, thus creating a very fresh show!

Improlíric Films. A concert where you will enjoy the best opera arias that have become famous through films such as Philadelphia “La Mamma morta”, Mission Impossible “Nessun dorma” or “Casta Diva” from TV advertising (Jean Paul Gaultier)

Bolerazos, a concert where Santi displays a range of harmonic possibilities that provide great musical richness to the concert, and Angela's operatic voice is transformed into a velvety and very warm voice, creating unimaginable improvisations and melodic drawings. Hollywood & Broadway, A Show where they interpret in their own style pieces from the best and most famous musicals such as Cats, Chicago or Cabaret, among others.

• All tickets include access to the exhibitions, to the concert and a complimentary glass of cava.
• If there are no more tickets available on the website, they can be purchased at the museum box office depending on capacity availability. In this case, it is preferable to book in advance by calling 933195693 or by sending an email to taquillas@meam.es.
• The locations have a number assigned according to the order of reservations. It will not be possible to make any change of location once the seats are assigned.
• Access to the concert hall will take place from 5:50 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Once the concert has started, you will not be able to access the room.
• The exhibition can be visited both before and after the concert, taking into account that the museum closes at 20:00.
• The tour to the exhibitions lasts approximately 45 minutes.
• It will be enough to have the voucher or reservation on the mobile and not print it.
• The museum reserves the right to cancel the unpaid reservation 5 minutes before the start of the concert. For this reason, we recommend showing up at the box office 30 minutes in advance. 
• In the case of tickets purchased in advance: After 6:00 p.m. it will not be possible to opt for a refund. If the user of the tickets has not communicated, before the concert, the delay or impossibility of attendance: these may be assigned to another user after 6:05 p.m.
